over the past 4 years, the photovoltaic system has been doubled and today more than 40% of the energy consumed comes from renewable sources. In addition, there is constant investment in the renewal of the technology park to increase efficiency and further reduce consumption.
Mac3’s operations are driven by a continuous improvement approach and process optimization.
With this in mind, the recovery of scrap at the end of the line is closely monitored and constant work is done to minimise the use of materials in production processes.
Mac3 joins the RAEE collective system, contributing to the proper collection of end-of-life products.
In compliance with environmental regulations, procedures and processes have been implemented for the proper sorting, disposal, storage, handling and transport of waste and hazardous substances. To support these practices, investments have been made in continuous staff training, promoting a culture of respect for the environment.
Particular attention is paid to environmental impact in product design. Practical examples is the range of inverters, which reduce electricity consumption by electric pumps and the the new Green Key float switch. The latter, made of 100% recycled polypropylene, represents a concrete best practice of circular economy and offers a sustainable solution without compromising quality and performance.
Aware of its responsibility, it has been implemented a user-friendly system for the proper disposal of packaging and adheres to the consorzio ERION for end-of-life treatment of the product.
Mac3 works with couriers who adopt environmental policies to reduce the impact of transport activities, and we offer international transport options via maritime logistics.
